How much hair do I need?

 

• Lengths 12-22 we recommend 3 bundles of hair.

• Lengths 24-30 we recommend 4 bundles of hair

• Lengths 30-40 we recommend 5 bundles of hair.

Can the hair take color?

​

Since the hair is unprocessed virgin hair, the hair can take color very well and still has its natural silk luster. Please make sure you condition and moisturize the hair once  it has been colored.

 

Shedding

​

Hair that has been a wefted experiences minimum shedding which is absolutely normal. Minimum shedding meaning 0-5 strands a day. Although, proper maintenance is extremely important and advised. We do not recommend cutting your wefts, doing this will increase the chances of the hair shedding.

 

Maintenance

​

• Wash hair 1-2 times a week

• Recommended shampoo/ conditioner brands: Garnier Fructis, Tresemme, OGX

• Somali Curly hair: spray bottle, leave in conditioner, and or “Argon oil of Morocco” (OGX brand)

• Use a wide tooth comb to detangle hair when wet

• Allow hair to air dry

• Scrunch up hair or you a diffuser to restore  curls

• Avoid alcohol based products!

Last Minute Order  Changes

Decided you want a different length at the last minute? No problem! Email t.lola@thelolaeffect.com before your order ships so you can get the hair that you want! Once the hair ships and has been received, the sale is final.

 

Shipping

​

Your order will be processed and shipped within 2-3 days  of payment. Our standard shipping will take 3-5 shipping days after the order has been processed. We require a signature/ID confirmation to ensure your order arrives at the correct destination and was received by you and no one else. USPS will not leave the package unless they have a signature and Valid ID!

Refunds/exchanges

Once item is shipped and received, there are no refunds or exchanges. Refunds and exchanges are only granted for items that are not yet shipped.
