How much hair do I need? 

• Lengths 12-22 we recommend 3 bundles of hair.

• Lengths 24-30 we recommend 4 bundles of hair

• Lengths 30-40 we recommend 5 bundles of hair.

Can the hair take color?

Since the hair is unprocessed virgin hair, it can take color very well and still has its natural silk luster. Please make sure you condition and moisturize the hair once it has been colored.

 

Shedding

Hair that has been a wefted experiences minimum shedding which is absolutely normal. Minimum shedding meaning 0-5 strands a day. However, proper maintenance is extremely important and advised. We do not recommend cutting your wefts, doing this will increase the chances of hair shedding.

 

 Maintenance

•  Wash hair 1-2 times a week

• Recommended shampoo/ conditioner brands: Garnier Fructis, Tresemme, OGX

• Somali Curly hair: spray bottle, leave-in conditioner, and or “Argon oil of Morocco” (OGX brand)

• Use a wide tooth comb to detangle hair when wet

• Allow hair to air dry

• Scrunch up hair or use a diffuser to restore  curls

• Avoid alcohol-based products!
